Open to all grades Kindergarten to 12th grade, club tournaments are a great way to start playing chess competitively.
Details on the tournament:
Sections
- K-12th grade Open rating 1200 and above (3 rounds)
- K-12th grade rated Under 1200 (4 rounds)
- K-6th grade rated under 600 (4 rounds)
- K-6th grade U400 (4 rounds)
Round 1 starts 11:30 AM with awards estimated at around 4:30 pm.
Time control: Game 60 minutes in K-12th Open section, and Game 30 minutes in all other sections.
Awards: Trophies to top 3 winners in each section. Participation medals to non-place finishers.
Entry Fee: $35 ($40 onsite). Pre-register online to save!
Lunch is available for an additional $5 (pizza, chips, and juice) for each tournament.
