Looking for gifts for the holiday season? The chess club has a variety of chess books, sets, and accessories available for sale. Gift cards are also available for purchase. Come by the chess store in Garden Grove during business hours or during open play on Thursday and Friday at 5pm -9pm. You can also set an appointment by emailing us or calling 714- 643-8828 for your holiday shopping.
Wednesday Knights – Wednesday Knights Championship continues from November with three more round to finish the year!
- Round 4: December 3
- Round 5: December 10
- Round 6: December 17
Registration and check in between 6 – 6:30 pm. Each round starts at 7:00 pm
Saturday Tournament – We have weekly tournaments on Saturdays: December 6, 13, and 20th (Chess Club Closed for Dec 27th) . Register to join other chess players for over-the-board games. If registering on site please come in by 10:30 am. Round 1 starts at 11 AM
Casual chess on Thursdays and Fridays – $10 to play. Play as many games as possible between the hours of 5 pm to 9 pm. Walk-ins welcome! or Click Here to Sign Up
The chess club will be closed on December 24 – January 2, 2026 for the holidays. Regular business hours will resume on January 3, 2026.
