This monthly US Chess rated tournament will be for players in Kindergarten to 12th grade only. US Chess Federation membership is required and can register or renew it onsite.

Date: Sunday, May 19, 2025
Check-in between 9:30-9:45 AM and Round 1 starts at 10 AM with awards estimated at around 3:00/3:30 pm. There will be 5 rounds.
Time control: Game 30 minutes, delay 5 seconds
Venue: Indoors at 6803 International Ave. Unit 206, Cypress, CA 90630 (Free parking available)
Sections (subject to change depending on the number of players)
- K-12th grade Open section
- K-8th grade Under 1100
- K-6th grade rated Under 800
- K-3rd grade Under 400
Awards: Top 5 trophies awarded in each section

Boards and sets will be provided. We recommend bringing your own writing utensils, clocks if you have one, a light sweater in case it gets cold as venue is indoors with AC. Please bring your own snacks, lunch, and water bottles. Venue is walking distance to a Starbucks, Target, and multiple plazas with food options.
