Special Saturday Tournament this weekend, February 22! We will get to know more about the French Defense.
Starting at 9:30 am, Grandmaster Batchuluun Tsegmed will give a 50-minute introductory lecture on the French Defense. Then at 11 am, we will start the Saturday Tournament with players, playing as white or black, to start all their games for the day with 1. e4 e6.
The idea is to learn more about this opening and get the opportunity to practice this immediately and in real time.
The Grandmaster lecture is free for registered tournament players and chess club members. Participants also have the option to do either the lecture ($20) or the tournament only ($30).
