For the Aspiring Mastermind:
- Grandmaster Lecture on the French Defense, Saturday, February 22, 2025 9:30-10:30 am. Saturday tournament to follow with Round 1 at 11 am.
- Wednesday’s Middlegame Lessons (4:30-6:00 PM): Hear useful ideas to improve your middlegame! This workshop delves into concepts like outposts and good and bad bishops. Gain a deeper understanding of position evaluation and develop the understanding to outmaneuver your opponents. (see flyer below)
- Thursday’s Quick Tips and Tricks (6:30-7 PM): Got a burning chess question you’d like to get answered? Join us on Thursday during casual night for a brief lesson and discussion.
For the Young Prodigy:
- Kids’ Group Lessons (afternoons on Thursdays and Fridays and Saturday morning 9:00-10:30 AM): Foster a love for chess in the next generation! Our engaging group lessons provide a fun and supportive environment for children to learn the fundamentals of chess. We focus on chess fundamentals, developing problem-solving skills, and sportsmanship through lectures, worksheets, puzzles, and friendly competition.
For the Dedicated Student:
- Private Lessons (Tuesdays & Sundays by Appointment): Receive personalized instruction tailored to your individual needs and goals. Our experienced instructors will assess your strengths and weaknesses, provide targeted guidance, and help you move towards your chess goals.
