Event Details
The weekly US Chess rated tournament will be this Saturday, May 24, starting at 11 am at 6803 International Ave. 206 Cypress, CA 90630. There will be four rounds for the Under 1000 section and 3 rounds for the 1000+ section. Details and registration at https://chesspalace.com/tournaments/saturday-open/
Open play will be on Monday, May 26 at 5246 Lampson Ave. Garden Grove, CA 92845. Casual chess over-the-board (OTB) will be played from 1 to 4 pm. Entry is $10 for the day. (Free entry with chess books, accessories, or equipment purchase). Walk-in registration.
