Wednesday Knights – Wednesday Knights ChessPalace Championship continues for the November/December period with three more round to finish the year to determine the chess club’s 2024 Champion.
- Round 4: December 4
- Round 5: December 11
- Round 6: December 18
Registration and check in between 6 – 6:30 pm. Each round starts at 7:00 pm
Saturday Tournament – We have weekly rate tournaments on Saturdays: December 7, 14, and 21. Register to join fellow chess players for over-the-board games. If registering on site please come in early, between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Round 1 starts at 10 AM
Amateur Tournament December 8, 2024 – Practice tournament for beginners of all ages. Tournament starts at 12 pm. Rated and non-rated games available (US Chess membership is not required.) *Please note that this tournament is at SteelCraft Garden Grove*
Casual chess on Thursdays and Fridays – Free for chess club members/$10 for non-members. Play as many games as possible between the hours of 6 pm to 10 pm. Walk-ins welcome! or Click Here to Sign Up
The chess club will be closed on December 24 – January 2, 2025 for the holidays. Regular business hours will resume on January 3, 2025.

- Scholastic Tournament – January 22, 2025 (Starting in January, the monthly Scholastic tournaments will now be on the 4th Sunday of the month, except in December)
