🏆 ChessPalace’s Anniversary Tournament

The 35th Anniversary Tournament for ChessPalace will be on Sunday, August 17, 2025.

• Venue: Indoors at 6803 International Ave. 206, Cypress, CA 90630 Parking is free
• Lunch is included for participating players (Potluck for snacks/desserts)
• Door prizes will be raffled throughout the day!
• Awards/Prizes: $1,000 Prize Fund

Tournament Details:

• Check In: 9-9:15 am (Please register in advance so we can get a head count for lunch and space capacity).
• Round 1 at 10 AM
• Time Control: 5 Rounds: Game 30 min +10 sec Increment (G/30;+10)
• Sections: Under 1400 and Open
• Games will be US Chess rated
• Entry Fee: $70 advance registration by August 10th ($20 more thereafter) $10 for chess club members
