A. Blitz Tournament on Tuesday, March 18 at 7 pm. Rated tournament! Time control for this tournament will be 5 min/0 sec delay. 5 rounds-double swiss
B. Saturday Tournament – Round 1 starts at 11:00 AM – 3 Rounds for top sections. Time control is 85 min/5 sec delay. There will be a tournament on March 22 and another on March 29
C. Scholastic Tournament – March 23 for chess players in Grades K – 12th only. This tournament is US Chess rated and will be at SteelCraft Garden Grove.
D. There’s still time to join in on the Wednesday Knights Tournament – Round 3 is on March 19 and Round 4 will be on March 26 – each round starts at 7:00 pm
E. Lastly, the chess club will be open for casual chess on Thursday and Friday at 6-10 pm. Players can find fellow chess players to play over-the-board chess. Entry is $10 for non-members and free for members and players with over 2000+ US Chess rating. Complimentary lecture is included on Thursday 6:30-7 pm.
