- New Event! MasterClass Workshop with GM Melik Khachiyan will be on Tuesday and Wednesday before the tournament.

ChessPalace’s 33rd Anniversary Tournament – New Date is on Sunday, October 15, 2023
Join us for a 5-round rated tournament at Miles Square Park! Paid entry fee includes lunch and event t-shirt.
Wednesday Knights – Wednesday Knights is a tournament for the whole month and will have one round played each Wednesday night on: Oct. 4, 11, 18 AND 25. Registration and check in between 6 – 6:30 pm. Each round starts at 7:00 pm
Saturday Tournament – We have weekly tournaments on Saturdays: Oct. 7, 14, 21, and 28 . Register to join other chess players for over-the-board games. If registering on site please come in early, between 9:00 and 9:30 am. Round 1 starts at 10 AM
Amateur Tournament Oct. 8 – First round starts at 12 pm. (US Chess membership is not required for the non-rated section.) *Please note that this tournament is at SteelCraft Garden Grove* There is limited space so sign up early.
Halloween Scholastic Tournament – Come dress up and play at the SteelCraft Garden Grove on October 29. Scholastic tournaments are for chess players in Grades K – 12th. (US Chess Federation membership is required for all sections.) Round 1 starts at 9:30 am
Casual chess on Thursdays and Fridays – Free for chess club members/$10 for non-members. Play as many games as possible between the hours of 6 pm to 10 pm. Walk-ins welcome! or Click Here to Sign Up
