A rapid (game 15 min/5 sec delay) tournament will be held at the chess club at 1:00 pm this Sunday, April 23. Registration for the tournament is $20. Trophies will be awarded to top finishers
There will also be a lecture prior to the tournament by Grandmaster Melik Khachiyan, US Olympic Women’s Team Coach and 8-time American Open champion, on Basic Endgame Knowledge: What You Need to Know.
If you would like to participate, it will be at 10 am. Registration for the lecture is $30 which will include a pizza lunch after.
